Ships and Boats by 2G All ships and boats float. They move us across the water. How boats move Boats move in different ways. Some boats have rudders that are used to steer. Some boats have sails that use wind to help them move. Bigger boats use engines that drive boats of all sizes. Types of boats Ferries are a type of large boat that moves passengers to different places that aren't far away. Some people live on houseboats. Cruise ships are huge boats that are like floating hotels. Cruise ships take people to holiday places far away. Yachts are sailing boats that are powered by wind. People race yachts and sail them for pleasure. Finding the way Boats and ships find their way at night by flashing marker buoys that show them the safe way to go. Lighthouses mark the entrance to a harbour so ships can work out where they are. Boats are really helpful, without them we could not travel across the water.

The day that ice-cream came out of the taps at my house
by 2G
When I woke up, it was just like any other day. I wandered into the bathroom to take a shower. I turned on the cold tap and heard a deep groan coming from the pipes. "That's unusual," I thought but I hurried into the shower all the same. I didn't want to be late. It was gelato day at our school and I did not want to miss out on that!
Instead of water gushing out of the shower head, a light pink substance oozed out onto my hair. It ran down my face and smelled just like strawberry ice-cream. Next, I turned on the hot water tap.. to my surprise chocolate ice-cream came gushing out towards me.
2G have been writing some cool endings to this story. Stay tuned to read them.
Saxon's Spelling Word Rap
I was sitting in the elevator writing a song,
Until big Billy Jack came storming along.
Then he ran into the lift and stood on my wrist,
And twist and I pulled out a swordfish,
I said 'Hey you wrecked my hand'
